A TRIP TO THE “ILET LA MERE” (SEA ISLET)

Your departure meeting point in the morning or afternoon is the marina at Dégrad des Cannes; you will then board a small motorboat shuttle to take you to the “Ilet La Mère” sea islet (ca. 30 minutes of travel).
There to greet you on arrival will be the Saimiri monkeys (aka. squirrel monkeys)—the only local inhabitants.
Take your time for a free tour using the circular footpath going round this little island.
You can then enjoy its small beach and go swimming.
You must also bring along picnic supplies (no restaurants or any catering available).
Feel free to stay beyond a half-day (prices unchanged for a full day).
