HALF-DAY TRIP TO THE FOURGASSIE CASCADES<\/span><\/p>\n

This leisurely circuit on pirogue will take you to the Fourgassi\u00e9 cascades during the rainy season, a period when the water level is ideal for bathing in the large potholes or \u201cmarmites\u201d full of clean freshwater. You will also enjoy a short stop at the Amerindian village of Favard where you can discover local crafts.<\/p>\n

During the dry season (mid-July to late December), this unique location also offers a U-shaped sandbank with a gently sloping beach where bathing in freshwater is a treat! Though the sandbank goes under water in the rainy season, many other fine swim spots remain\u2026<\/p>\n
