Trip schedule<\/h2>\n

Day 1<\/span><\/p>\n

9.30am \u2013 Gathering at the \u201cCamp des Maripas\u201d PK18 landing stage (Saramaca riverside port) to board a pirogue (dugout canoe) and motor up the Kourou River (boat trip lasting one hour).<\/p>\n

Arrival at Camp Cariacou (camp tour, hammock-slinging techniques\u2026etc.). Afternoon activities will include trekking, canoe paddling and swimming.
\nAll meals are prepared and served by your guide.
\nA nighttime pirogue trip will take you on the river to discover the nocturnal fauna.
\nThen off to a restful night (hammocks and mosquito nets supplied).<\/p>\n

Day 2<\/span><\/p>\n

Campsite breakfast.
\nMorning canoe trip down to the creek.
\nCampsite lunch.
\nForest trek in the afternoon (lasting about two hours). Then workshop activities organized by your guide (basket weaving and traditional braiding). Your return river trip then takes you back to PK18.<\/p>\n

Arrival at 5.30pm.<\/p>\n
