DAY 1 – ARRIVAL IN CAYENNE

Arrival at Cayenne airport.
Private transfer to your hotel in a BMW or Audi A8 (depending on availability).
Help with your hotel check-in and general presentation of your trip.
Complimentary lunch.
We suggest “Ker Alberte”, a charming little 4-stars hotel.
Hotel dinner and night.

DAY 2 -FRENCH GUIANA SPACE CENTER

Breakfast at your hotel.
7.00am – Private transfer with your guide to take you to the Kourou Space Center (1-hour drive).
8am – Meeting in front of the Kourou Space Museum for registration and perimeter access (ID required for the whole visit).

Selected in 1964 among 13 other possible locations, the CSG is home to Europe’s gateway to space activities—its “Space Port”. Fully integrated into the natural landscape of French Guiana, it is now a major item for any discovery of our region. Accompanied by specialist guides, your tour will take you into the world of high technology as you visit the control center for an overall presentation, followed by a close look at the launch pads and other installations (depending on operational and/or security constraints). At the end of the visit, you will discover the Space Museum.

After your visit, lunch in a Kourou restaurant (beverages included).
Transfer back to Ker Alberte. Hotel dinner and night.

DAY 3 – WAPA LODGE

Breakfast at your hotel.
7.30am – Appointment with your chauffeur to pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the Saramaca riverside port (Dégrad saramaca) (20-30 minutes).
9.00am – Gathering at the PK21 pier (Saramaca riverside port). After a welcome speech by the Camp Director, you will board a traditional motorized canoe for a 25-min. transfer to the Wapa Lodge
9.30am – Arrival on camp. Welcome snacks will be served and you can settle down in your carbets (traditional lodges on piles)—with beds or hammocks. General presentation of all activities available on site.
12.30am – Appetizers and lunch. Our renowned chef will offer you a wide array of gourmet delights—all with a touch of originality.
Afternoon activities at your own choice: kayaking in the forest to discover its wildlife; stand-up paddle surfing (SUP); forest hikes—or even a relaxing massage.
Late afternoon snacks (incl. specials for children).
Evening activities: a warm, candle-lit atmosphere on site will surround your campfire gathering with a theme of your choice (musical evening, traditional evening, comedy evening—please ask for details).
7.00pm – Appetizers and dinner. A new opportunity to taste our chef’s refined cuisine…
Then off to a restful night in your bed or hammock!
Campsite accommodation for the night (in a “carbet” – traditional lodge on piles – with a double bed).

DAY 4 – WAPA LODGE

7.30 to 9.00am – Gourmet breakfast.
Morning activities can be the same or different: a new kayaking ride in the forest to discover its wildlife; more stand-up paddle surfing (SUP); new forest hikes—or even another relaxing massage!
12.30am – Aperitif and lunch. Another stage in your discovery of culinary delights!
Afternoon: further observations of the wildlife on kayaks or stand-up paddles, forest trek or relaxing massage.
Late afternoon: farewell snacks.
5.00pm – You’ll leave camp and board our pirogue taking you back to PK21 where you’ll arrive by 5.30pm.
Return transfer with your chauffeur driving you back to Ker Alberte.
Hotel dinner and night.

DAY 5 – SAILING TO THE “ILES DU SALUT” (DEVIL’S ISLANDS) ON A PRIVATE BOAT

Breakfast at your hotel.
7.15am – Your private car and guide come to pick you up at your hotel and drive you to the Dégrad des Cannes marina (30 minutes).
8.00am – You will board a private boat with your own skipper and exclusive service on board: appetizer, champagne, plantation rum—and deep-sea fishing!
Your boat: ca. 36ft in length and nearly 10ft wide, fit for a max. 14 passengers (features a cabin with bunks and a toilet).
Sailing to Devil’s Islands takes about an hour and a half.
Located 10 miles (8 nautical miles) off the coast of Kourou, the Royale island, St-Joseph island and Ile du Diable (Devil Island) form an archipelago that once was one of the most infamous penal colonies in the world.
You will sail around the three islands with stops for fishing or swimming whenever you like.
Land on the Royale Island will be followed by a private tour with your own guide.
Lunch in the island restaurant (beverages included).

Late afternoon return to port (Dégrad des Cannes).
Private transfer back to your hotel (Ker Alberte in Cayenne).
Hotel dinner and night.
